75 % TAX CREDIT
Your donation directly reduces your tax obligation to the state of Iowa. A $1000 donation reduces your taxes by $750. Plus, it may also qualify for federal tax deductions depending on your situation.
DIRECT BENEFIT TO STUDENTS
Dollars donated to an STO and distributed to a school can only be used to offset tuition. That means you can be assured you have a direct impact on the lives of students.

Each school in the Heart of Iowa STO has an allotment of tax credits available for donors. You may designate a school for your donation or make a general donation to the STO to be distributed where it is needed most.
Tax credits are limited. We recommend pledging early to assure availability.

3. RECEIVE TAX CREDIT
You will receive a tax credit certificate to use when you complete your taxes in the spring.
